Observation details
We heard a repeating Blue Jay distress/alarm call and went to investigate. Two Blue Jays were dive bombing a hawk that had captured a Northern Flicker. Based on the long, rounded tail, I believe it was a Cooper's Hawk. The hawk eventually flew into the woods with its prey, still being pursued by the Blue Jays.
