Continuing in the botanical garden, south of the Duck Club building (33.660357, -117.841974); reported by Andrea D and Bettina E (4/12). Thank you!! :)) Super shy. Likes to perch low, preferring the fences. Unfortunately, would be pushed out by the territorial Black Phoebes. Vocalizing a soft, wet, call. Cute, downward tail flicker with a round head.
