Observation details
This morning Anton M and I observed what appeared to be a female or immature male MAWA but found out it was not. I first saw him in the bush next to palm tree located in grassy area and then flew across to hedges along building. He was very still but slowly flying from bush to bush and then flew up to trees along sidewalk then back to same bush then to liquid amber tree and back to hedges, etc. He did this several times but not quite in the same sequence. Pale gray head, no dark patches around eyes, and yellow underparts. Unfortunately I was only able to obtain very poor photos which are out of focus.
