#06 1638 RTHA Pair in the distance high-circling in tandem well east of the park along one of the streets south of the park from 1623. Courtship display. • Juvenile circling over the north end of the park and settling on the ledge of a recently burned apartment on 409 Edgecombe Avenue from 1808 and facing uptown. Still there by 1820. Full crop was seen in flight. • Viewed from Bradhurst Avenue through 1839 at West 155th Street. • Still there by 1856 from Edgecombe Avenue south of the northwest entrance. • One repeatedly calling from the east side of the park. Before this, the juvenile turned to face the wall of the building showing its dark back to the park and possibly the calling hawk. Shortly after the juvenile took off heading downtown along Edgecombe Avenue by 1858.
