continuing stunner! we watched the enormous bottle brush patch at the south end of the basketball courts for nearly 30 minutes before he flew out from deep within and headed over to an exposed branch of a different tree here: 32.664974,-117.031414. then proceeded to catch a caterpillar, then a number of very tiny bugs - all while completely exposed and undisturbed by our presence
