Observation details
Distinctly an ibis. Very glossy reddish/green plumage shining in light. Distinct bluish lines on face. Definitely not bright white around entire bill nor did it have pinkish legs or facial skin near bill. Long decurved, light-colored bill. Actively feeding with shorebirds. Saw it grab a siren and believe it ate it! Suddenly flushed with all the shorebirds and teal when 2 Peregrines zipped in from seemingly nowhere. Neither Frank, nor I, could get the camera on the fleeing birds for a flight shot. Had a Glossy Ibis at this location on April 26, 2019.
