Observation details
FOS. Thrush seen at <50’ distance; brown above grayish-white below, black-tipped pink bill, pink legs, smudgy gray spotting on breast, large buffy eye ring with buffiness spreading out into face. Silent, moving slowly through understory of Virginia pine edge of hardwood forest, <8 feet above ground. Motionless when sitting (e.g. no tail dipping), tail well observed to be drab brown, not contrasting rusty with back. Digibin photo.
