Observation details
One Violet Crowned Hummer was 'stationed' near the 2 feeders directly behind the VC. It was either at the feeder or on/in the nearby bushes/trees along the creek. We watched it for quite a while. We then ventured up to the Hummingbird feeder 'grouping' with several benches and rocking chairs (approx. 300 ft from the VC). There was another Violet Crowned Hummer guarding one of the first feeders (first 2 feeders coming from VC before walking up a step to the next feeders). We observed this one as well as it was only seen on the feeder or in the trees behind the bench.
