Media notes
Crop of frame grab. Lightened and added color saturation. Can clearly see gray feet and legs. Can see a suggestion of the thin pale line above dark facial skin. (Wish it was better).
Observation details
Glossy dark maroon throughout most of body; dark green tertials/wing coverts. No coppery tones to plumage. Gray feet and legs including joint. Thin white line over top of dark facial skin; did not go all the way around face. It's hard to see against the sun and I couldn't find it in the afternoon with my DLSR. Only had video camera and pixelates if try to enlarge. Viewed with 60x 80mm Pentax scope. Differed from expected White-faced Ibis by gray legs and feet, dark eye and facial skin, incomplete and thin pale edge to facial skin (dark forehead). Lacks coppery tones to tertials. Later in the day Doub B. saw a definite White-faced Ibis in good light. So changing my sighting from Glossy Ibis to Glossy/White-faced.
