Observation details
*rare. With HERG flock hanging out around the jetty immediately south of the parking lot. HERG-size near-adult gull with notably darker mantle, but not nearly dark enough for pure LBBG with significant contrast between mantle and primaries. Dullish yellow legs. Structure was very similar to HERG, not noticeably more slender or long-winged than surrounding gulls. Photos tba
