Observation details
Campus species #125. Solitary vireo with clear white spectacles on dark gray head, uniformly gray uppers and white underparts. Separated from Cassin’s Vireo by complete lack of yellow tones. Two white wing bars. Singing. Foraging with the warblers and white-eyes in our magical ficus tree that has hosted many of our notable species on campus (CSWA, RBNU recently). AUHSD is cutting down almost all trees on our campus so I’m not sure how much longer the tree will be here.
