Observation details
Same Audubon’s doing yellowthroatish song here again: (43.0073473, -124.4334416). It was a mile east of trailhead up in the shore pine/Sitka spruce forest. Audubon’s like this habitat particularly the shore pine which they breed in at New River. They do not breed further east in Coast Range in the dense hemlock/Doug-fir forest type except high up near Mt Bolivar which is semi open forest with pine (sugar and knobcone) but they also use the scattered Doug-fir there.
