Observation details
Continuing bird first reported by Alex Henry and Logan Kahle, heard and seen from 37.6163327, -121.7454890, overlooking the dam. During my 30 minute stay there it would typically sing 2-4 times, then go silent for a few minutes, before singing again from a new location. I got two brief looks at it. First from long distance, as it was flying up the slope, from rock to rock. Then, just as I was leaving, I heard it singing from a tree branch on the ground, just beneath the trail; vividly orangey body, bright white throat. It took off down the slope as I switched from binoculars to camera, so I failed to obtain a photo. Personal county first :)
