Observation details
Really pale looking individual, surprisingly brown tones I am not up on moult variations of Bank swallow so deemed it worthy of review Changed to BARS..after Mel Review thru ebird ................ Initially had as strange looking Bank SW Raggedy moult bird somewhat distant and very backlit bino views as it was perched and preening photo.doc.d Smaller and more slight in build than nearby tree swallows Despite moulting plumage anomalies the pale forehead would seem to discount other regular non basw sp. including a drab female tree with "fake out " partial banding" some other plumage.appearance details dark well defined band most views obvious... obscured when/after stretched preening its back strange rusty buff on cheek apparent at times under throat was not a clean white...more of a buffy tinged with whitish.. the buffiness under throat had me double take and consider hybrids but don't think so Initial views of buffy throat had me think NRWS
