Observation details
Continuing bird found by Steve Lima. I initially spotted the bird sleeping here: (33.0577278, -117.0796281) along mudflats through some dense-ish foliage while standing here: (33.0576246, -117.0797472). After a few minutes, the bird started foraging and moving further east. I continued to see the bird in 30-60 second intervals as it foraged, then would lose the bird behind even denser foliage. Dark-plumaged large limosa sandpiper with long upturned bill, some rufous noticeable on belly. I didn't observe the bird in flight, but did see it raise its wings once, revealing its white rump and black tail.
