Media notes
High-pitched, jumbled warbler song repeatedly given from crown of huge tree directly overhead. Does not sound like the typical eastern NAWA song with which I am familiar but identified to this species by Merlin app & very similar to XenoCanto 813940. According to Handbook of the Birds of the World, "individuals only delivering first half of song occasionally heard during spring migration" which would fit this vocalization well. Songs at :01, :06, :13, :24 (snippet) & :27 seconds
