Observation details
This owl was discovered around 3pm in this awkward position. Very approachable, eyes closed and a few loose feathers nearby. Captured, held overnight in a warm location. Update: Bill snapping, eyes open and capable of flight on the following morning. Owl was released into a nest box on the property where it was found.
