Observation details
This is still presumably the male that has been seen here weekly since first discovered on Feb. 8th. I'm 99% sure I heard him calling from the canopy of the water oak earlier this morning, but I could not locate him. This time I confirmed with several good but brief views as he moved through the upper tier of the water oak adjacent to the Aquatic Research Lab (a favorite of Yellow Warblers during the typical mid-April to mid-May migration time frame). Completely bright yellow warbler with rusty streaks on breast. One of my many phone-binocular photos was sufficient for documentation purposes (what used to be a glowing, easy-to-spot bird is getting much harder to see now that the trees are filling out with young, yellow-green leaves).
