Observation details
Saw a group of about 15 BOWA feeding on trees by chart room cabins. Then, they joined a flock overhead of what looked like well over 100 waxwings that had likely taken off in nearby trees which headed off towards Crooked Rd. Large numbers Bohemian Waxwing vocalizations heard, even while I was filling up my gas before I started birding. I cannot definitively say that there were no CEWA in the larger flock especially since the ornithology class saw a mixed flock on campus a little bit before, but I didn't hear or see any. Based off the size of the flock and the amount of BOWA vocalizations heard, I'd say if there were and CEWA in the flock, they were in the vast minority.
