Observation details

Heard and seen. Unmistakable on both counts. Moving through the pine trees along the northern edge of the crepe myrtle field across from Warwick HS. Quite early for nominate subspecies. Gold Book lists April 20 as typical start date for BTGW moving through Coastal Plain (excluding wayneii subsp in Dismal Swamp). Even then, pretty unusual spring migrant.
