Observation details

First heard around 7:20pm; listened to it intently before finally seeing it in the northeast part of the marsh at about 7:45pm; observed until I couldn't see anymore at around 8:05pm. So glad I saw it! I heard a bittern on an outing very early in my birding days and have wanted to see one ever since.
