Observation details
Continuing male first observed here Feb 8th; most recently seen on March 19th, and I thought he had departed. I heard hard warbler chips coming from his “home base” area and from a distance saw a bright warbler-sized bird fly into a brush pile. I approached (without optics) and was close enough to see a completely yellow warbler flit within the brush pile before flying about 20 feet into a holly tree (during which time it was well seen in flight from about 30 feet away). Attached cell phone image was extracted from a live photo taken as the bird flew out of the brush pile.
