Observation details
About a half dozen momentary looks at a little brown bird darting about the reeds at ranges up to about 20 feet. The bird was at the base of the reeds in the foreground of the rail spot, working around the culvert opening, where the reeds begin to form at the bottom of the levee. The attached audio file captures the Marsh Wren scold call, beginning at about 28:44, a chattering plus a muffled kinglet-like twittering whistle (ignore the bluebird and song sparrow).
