Observation details
Continuing bird found by Susan Hedman on 2/25. Relocated on path below Cliff Drive here: 42.0546277, -70.1160372. Also seen later on Cliff Drive as it dove over the side back down into this general location. Walked all the way in the path and back, at one point I thought I heard the bird signing but it could have been a finch (which sounds similar to me esp. with the significant wind noise today). On the way back out I spotted the bird perched on a cedar about half way down the bank and then it flew into another on the trail making for nice eye level views while it fed on berries (cones). It didn't stay long and flew across the trail to the other side where I think I heard it singing again. I have audio and will post it if it is any good (doubtful with the high winds). Mostly gray songbird with buffy wing patches in the dark primaries and an eyering. Tail was all gray except the two outermost rectrices which were white. County bird. Photos.
