Observation details
Staggering numbers continuing here. We counted carefully 1000 individuals at the densest and sparsest parts of the flock and then counted by 1000's in adjacent areas. Approximately 85k were in Middle Harbor and 50k in East Harbor. West Harbor and Lake Erie didn't hold very many scaup, although at about 08:15 we viewed several thousand in flight over Lake Erie north of the jetty off the West Harbor entrance.
