Observation details
One bird, observed hitting rock pigeon & bringing it down in a stubble field. Mantled on the ground until rock pigeon became still, but falcon became uneasy with our vehicle and went to perch in a tree across the road. We left after a few minutes so it could eat undisturbed. Dark slaty grey back, white chest barred w/grey, strong dark "helmet", yellow feet & facial skin.
