Observation details
Distinctive white face with small black bill and black line from bill to eye. Black cap, neck and breast contrasting with white belly. Greyish feathers edged in black on the upperparts give a striped look. One goose appeared larger than the other, the larger bird having a thicker neck when both had neck stretched. Not banded. One Barnacle was often very close to a Canada Goose. When both Barnacles flew north it was with 2 Canada Geese.
