Observation details
Two birds along the Guadalupe Slough side of the north levee. First bird found at 8:31am and seen and digiscoped on and off until at least 8:54am (four images uploaded). Did not chip, but did give a Lincoln's Sparrow-like buzz, but weaker and sounding exhaled. Surprisingly, as this bird was calling, I heard another sparrow making the same call 25 yards to the east. Walking that way, a second Swamp Sparrow flew up and perched in the open, chipping loudly (call recorded in Merlin and uploaded). This second bird was found again on my return to this area at 9:47am and digiscoped (the last two photos uploaded).
