Observation details
Had this bird two days in a row. Spent about 10 minutes with it total. Got photos today. Looks like a Townsend's at first glance but the yellow beginning at the lores fades out around the eye and the supercilium and auriculars become white toward the nape. Breast showed much less yellow than you'd expect from a Townsend's. Mantle was more gray consistent with Black-throated Gray.
