Observation details
Bird flushed as we pushed through brush in kayaks at S end of slough behind long island here 26.504483,-99.107768; John was happy to settle for the obscured looks rather than push in and spook the bird further so we took some quick photos then pushed back out to head back - while we were headed back it flew into tree on river side of island for amazing point blank looks/photos. Sang.
