Media notes
Two copies of the same recording, one filtered and one unfiltered. Between seconds 21 and 31, there is four sections of another sound, which might be a tinamou but not sure. Would love to hear back if someone knows. The rest was recognized as a Brushfinch by Merlin (but not the correct species) . In addition, when I played this recording back, a Santa Marta Brushfinch did hop into view for a short second. So play back was used not before but after making this recording.
Observation details
On the ground, white throat of same shape as in chestnut capped brushfinch. In the recording, there is something else giving four bouts between seconds 21 and 31. I would love to know what that something else is.
