Observation details
Nasal sounding calls. Smaller than nearby American Crow. Tail not as long, proportionally, as those of nearby Great-tailed Grackles. Acting crow-like: repeatedly picking at something large on the ground. An American Crow came over, chased the smaller Fish Crow off a few feet and picked at the same thing. Whereas the Great-tailed Grackles were all walking and picking at the ground and immediately continuing on, as a group. Both flew off together to the trees to the south.
