Media notes
A Dull-colored Grassquit sings from near the mouth of the Rio Chamaya into the Maranon E of Chamaya on a cloudy morning with no rain. Singing from a slope with tall columnar cacti and numbers of barrel cacti in bloom and lots of prickly pear—beautiful cactus desert. Background includes: Long-tailed Mockingbird, Purple-throated Euphonia. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, using a Sennheiser ME60 series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.
