Two birds are scolding a singing Peruvian Pygmy-Owl in roadside desert with tall cordón cacti just N of Jaén as it rains lightly. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, using a Sennheiser ME60 series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.
Observation details
female with white above eye coming from in front of eye; calls different, a whinier one like U.S. gnatcatchers, not hearing at all the high 'shree' call of Pacific birds;
