Spontaneous songs of Peruvian Plantcutters singing back and forth from atop the taller acacias in the shrubby dune-stabilizing vegetation W of Mocupe. Background includes: Pacific Parrotlets, Superciliated Wren, Tumbes Tyrannulet, Long-tailed Mockingbird, Streaked Saltator, Bananaquit, Eared Dove. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, using a Sennheiser ME60 series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.

much singing to mid-morning; common, conspicuous; a Grebe lifer!
