Media notes
Singing from way up the slope in montane woodland with the first patch of bamboo we’ve come to as we climb the W slope toward Porculla Pass—this was near Km 44, where there are some big trees both up and down the slope. The saltator was not seen and not responsive to playback. Background includes: Azara’s Spinetail, Chestnut-crowned Antpitta, House Wren. Digitized from original tape recording on a Sony TCM5000, using a Sennheiser ME60 series mic with a Mineroff booster & foam windscreen.
