Observation details
Two male inter-grade flickers. One has stronger yellow in the tail feathers and lighter orange primary shafts, also the red nape marking was much weaker. Both had a red nape and a red malar. The pair of NOFL have been here all winter and the second male arrived today. Males were chasing each other around exhibiting agitated behavior. Drumming started about 4 days ago.
