Observation details
In the Jacaranda trees just to the east of the MB Botanical Garden. Actively feeding along the trunks and along the branches of four trees in the 10 or so minutes I watched it. Likely a continuing bird seen by Sara Boscoe on 2/29. Black and white striped bird with striping on the breast and black spotting on the undertail coverts. I believe it to be a male from the amount of black on its throat. The bill is too long and curved and the bird lacks a yellow spot on lores among other differences to be a Black-throated Warbler.
