Observation details
*re-submitting as two individuals, since submissions of three birds are not getting validated, despite multiple reports from numerous different observers (including us), and to include some people apparently getting photos of two males together (?) previously reported male and female at usual location putting on an incredible show, feeding and calling right next to the road; these two birds started to get more active with feeding and calling and eventually moved up the creek bed toward the research station at around 1630. We relocated to the bridge hoping to intercept them as they moved up the canyon for the night and we did observe both initial birds calling and flying west up the canyon. A third individual (unknown age/sex) was calling on the northwest slope of the canyon simultaneous to the pair being visible/audible at the bridge, confirming the presence of three individuals.
