Observation details
Heard only. The bird was singing repeatedly within 20 m of the trail near a creek. The song was distinctive - long, fast-paced, rollicking/chattery, with many high-pitched notes sung at varying pitches. Familiar with this species from hearing it singing regularly from spring through late summer every year. A recording of one of the songs is attached.
