Observation details
3 large adult swans (predominantly all-white plumage with slight staining on head & black facial skin) with 2 juveniles/immatures (grayish plumage with smattering of white). Differentiated from other swan species by distinct all black v-shaped pattern leading into heavy, but elegantly elongated, bill (no yellow on lores or rounded border - indeed, these swans possess a very distinct v-pointed shape leading to the bill). Swans have been present in the Tahquamenon rivermouth area for a few days now…today went back with scope for a more careful (& better) viewing than with binoculars in order to ensure these were TRSWs. iPhone pics added to doc quantity.
