Observation details
The overall plumage of males are glistening black and scarlet-red, whereas the females are bright yellow and grey. The male has a glossy black head, throat and some of the upper part, the under part is scarlet red and there are large red patch on wings. Male has a black and red tail. Whereas the females are of distinctively different plumage as compared to males. Females have grey upper parts, bright yellow forehead, crown and under part.
