A frame, in between its 'zit' ....... 'zit' call, which is also given in flight.
Observation details
1. The ZICIs were very bold and open today. While we stood hoping for the LAWA to come out, these birds were actively calling, flying, and getting in and out of grassy patches near us. 2. I was standing still. This individual perched ~7 meters away from me, took my attention by continuous call. In between its 'zit' 'zit' call, it was preening and calling. 3. While calling they move their head and look around. It was having regular watch on me, if I was posing any threat. After about 6-7 minutes (ample time for photos & video-graphing), it decided to move elsewhere. 4. Photos & videos TBA...
