Observation details
A male singing in the NE corner of the main lake. A larger version of a Reed Warbler being brown above and buff-white below with a large head and thrush-like bill and having a more prominent supercilium than a Reed Warbler with dark lores and eye-stripe. The song was incredibly loud and far carrying, being similar in structure to that of a Reed Warbler with various repeated phrases, but altogether more harsh and coarser.
