Observation details
Found yesterday. Two small white geese. One with a little more grey than the other. No grin patch. White bird had greyer bill. One with greyer mantle feathers had mottled pink bill. Close examination of pictures shows the whiter bird has a more curved line where the beak meets the cheek, indicating a hybrid Snow x Ross's Goose. Grey-backed bird has a straighter line where the beak meets the cheek, indicating a Ross's Goose.
