Observation details
Continuing bird. Thanks to Al G. for re-finding it. I had given up on this species after 4 or 5 unsuccessful attempts in the county including a previous visit to this site. Myiarchus flycatcher with grayish brown upper parts, pale gray extending from throat to lower breast/upper belly, very pale yellow lower belly, predominately reddish tail appears to be brown tipped. Bill appears no larger than Great-crested (vs larger bill of Brown- crested). Will add photos. Moving about between north boundary perimeter fence, scrub tree along fence line, and nearby ficus. Center of activity was where the north running maintenance road (the one that the eastern boundary of the yellow trail merges with) ends in T- intersection with north perimeter.
