Observation details
🟠 Continuing female found by Phil Mills a few days ago. Refound immediately in the pine stand very close behind the maintenance building. Called on and off for a while. Very cooperative, and didn’t flush when park maintenance drove off road vehicles back and forth about 20 feet below. Viewed in close proximity with great comparison to Red-breasted Nuthatch and Pine Siskin. Noticeably larger than both. Overall brownish-yellow with streaks on breast, distinct white wing bars, and crossed bill. Photo, video, and audio.
