Observation details
Found by Kai Russell 2/26. Small, gray, and easily mistaken in size for the nearby Bushtits. Had a gray back, a pale eyering, and a short thin bill. The underparts were completely clean white. The rump was noticeably dark rufous. It was favoring the budding willows on 12th Street that the Blackburnian Warbler used in the fall, and also where I saw it yesterday.
