Observation details
We were watching the feeders a friend has in Victor and rosy finches were in the area the entire time. There were as many as 25+ at the feeders at times and many more in the tops of the conifers in the area. I estimate there were at least 75 rosy finches (and maybe as many as 100) in the area during the period. It was difficult to ID and count birds that were in the tops of the trees or flying around. Blacks were the commonest followed by brown-capped (many fewer) then gray-crowned.
