Observation details
Calling starting around 7pm, decided to try and locate this one with success. After about an hour it went silent, would periodically let out a cat like whine/shriek a few times then back to silent. This is by 10 pm still happening. When investigating originally there could have been a second owl. Edit: despite being 20km or so from the site of the morning pair calling. After all playback this owl clearly is calling a slightly rising and then falling toot series compared to the constant same sound range used between the other two. On was lower and one was higher this would more match the lower and I guess I should research if male or females have a higher range of voice.
